** As the team is dispersed throughout EU, you will need to be available / flexible for calls with the team around 6-7pm AEST, particularly in the beginning for knowledge transfer + flexible hours Sydeny office ( Hybrid)

Minimum 7+ years’ experience working on complex back end distributed systems, ideally within a start-up / scale up, any Fin-tech , particularly in Tax, Accounting banking or financial services, etc would be highly regarded

Tech:

• Python, 3.12 (Aiohttp, Sqlalchemy) Microservices are developed using modern async Python.
• GIL, Multithreading/ Multiprocessing
• GCP/ AWS / Azure
• PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL, AlloyDB) and MongoDB (Atlas). or other relational databases) handling terabyte-sized instances
• RabbitMQ to exchange data between microservices or similar messaging
• Kubernetes to run their microservices / Docker, Helm.
• Understanding data structures and algorithms, including their time and space complexity.
• + Typescript, React, MobX (beneficial, not required )
