Salary: $30 - $38 per hour

We are currently seeking a fully qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of light vehicles.

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.

• Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Complete repair orders and maintain accurate records of work performed.

• Ensure that all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

• Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and the required repairs.

• Collaborate with the team to meet service goals and maintain high standards of work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (minimum 6 years including Apprenticeship).

• Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• A valid driver’s license and can drive Manual.

• Air-conditioning handling license, roadworthy certification (not essential).
