This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Accountant to join a small team. In this role, you'll manage payroll processing, handle queries, and ensure compliance, with hybrid work options available after training. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll on a regular basis.
• Respond to payroll-related queries from team members.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Manage payroll system updates and ensure data integrity.

Hybrid Work & Team Environment:

• Initially, this is an in-office role, but hybrid working options will be available once you have demonstrated knowledge in the role.
• Laptop and access to cloud-based systems will be provided.
• You'll work within a small team of 2, with occasional interactions with other restaurant staff who work from the office.

Training & Support:

• Training: Basic procedure manuals will be provided, and support is available from the current payroll accountant (if they are available) and the payroll system team for any technical challenges.

What We're Looking For:

• Ideally, experience with Access MicrOpay (formerly Sage MicrOpay), Xero, and Deputy time and attendance would be beneficial, but not mandatory.

• Personality & Culture Fit:
  We are seeking someone who is comfortable working autonomously and in a small team. You'll need to be friendly and approachable, ready to assist team members with payroll queries.
• Experience & Skills:
  Previous experience with payroll in the hospitality industry would be ideal, but we are also open to candidates who are ready to learn quickly and hit the ground running.
