An exciting opportunity exists for a Lead/Senior Android Developer to join a major enterprise project delivering high-impact mobile applications for millions of users.

This 6-month initial contract (with high likelihood of extensions) offers a day rate of $1000 - $1125 and the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines
• Work closely with iOS developers, UX engineers, BAs, and product owners to align on technical design and delivery
• Implement best practices in testing, automation, and mobile development standards
• Work within a server-driven UI architecture where UI components are delivered from the backend
• Operate in a hybrid work model (2-3 days in-office), coordinating with distributed teams

Required Skills & Experience:

• Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin Coroutines
• Strong Git skills (branching, cherry-picking, pull requests)
• Unit and UI Testing (JUnit, Kotest, Espresso, Compose UI Test)
• Mobile development best practices (app lifecycle, backward compatibility)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive delivery in an enterprise setting
