Summary of Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Manager to join a reputable aged care facility in Ballarat. This role is crucial in providing clinical leadership and operational management, ensuring high-quality care for residents. As a key member of the leadership team, you will work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders to create a supportive and person-centred care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the clinical care team, ensuring excellence in aged care services.
• Maintain compliance with Aged Care Standards, accreditation processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee resident care plans, ensuring individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Support and mentor nursing and care staff, fostering a positive and team-focused culture.
• Ensure effective resource and financial management for clinical operations.
• Act as the facility’s leader in the absence of the Service Manager.

Key Requirements

• Registered Nurse (APHRA registration) with a minimum of five years’ experience in a senior clinical role within aged care.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and support staff.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aged care legislation, ACFI, infection control, and risk management.
• Experience in developing and maintaining resident care plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate and respectful environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and maintain operational efficiency.
• A current police record check.
• Tertiary qualifications in management (desirable).
