My client represents a global network of solutions-focused accountancy and consulting firms in Australia. The Sydney office is based in Sydney's CBD with 30 partners and over 250 staff. They provide expertise to a diverse range of clients from large corporate organisations to privately managed businesses as well as high net wealth groups. Their client portfolio is extremely broad and includes SGEs with annual t/o above $1bn.
The Business Advisory team consists of approx. 100 team members, with this role reporting predominantly into 2 Directors and their reporting lines. In saying that, you will also have an opportunity to work with other Managers/Directors on other engagements.
The firm places emphasis on providing excellent training, development and career advancement opportunities for their staff. They also provide a high amount of internal and external training – ACATG conferences, 6 weekly tax updates, tax presentations from specialist tax Partners etc.

They also provide international secondments for any employees interested and exposure to exciting clients including ASX listed companies.

They also provide flexible working arrangements including up to 2 days WFH per week once settled into the role.
Key duties:
Preparation of Financial Statements for Individual, Companies, Trusts and Partnerships.
Preparation of Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and FBT Returns.
Liaising with the ATO and other government agencies as needed
Contacting clients and responding to their queries
The ideal candidate:
CA/CPA studying (or looking to commence)
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
3 years + experience in a public practice environment
Familiarity with Xero and other accounting platforms
Exposure to multi-entity/group clients
A desire to progress your career
