About the role

We currently have a newly created vacancy for an experienced and skilled full time Assistant Manager to join our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and success of our established automotive services business.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Assisting the General Manager in overseeing daily business operations and sales

Coordinating staff scheduling, training and performance management

Ensuring high standards of customer service satisfaction

Understanding sales and markups

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing change

Providing technical expertise and hands-on support for cross matching spare parts

Promoting a positive, collaborative and safety-focused work environment

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and experience in a similar position you'll have/be:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in the automotive or off highway industry

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills in maintenance to advise customers

Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Proven track record of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple priorities effectively

Relevant qualifications in automotive or off highway vehicle technology or a related field
