ROAR Solutions, a trusted provider of workforce solutions across Queensland, New South Wales, and Papua New Guinea, is seeking highly skilled and experienced Underground Coal Diesel Fitters to join our mining client’s operations in the Blackwater region.

As a key part of our client’s mining operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of diesel-powered equipment in an underground mining environment. What's on Offer:

Roster: 7/7 (7 days on, 7 days off rotating day / night shifts)

Travel:

DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out): 4 hours of paid travel at the beginning and end of each shift rotation

FIFO (Fly In, Fly Out): Brisbane-only – candidates must arrange their own transport to the camp/site

Pay: Competitive weekly payments for timely and reliable income

Accommodation & Meals: All accommodation and meals are provided in camp

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:

Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Mechanical Fitting (Essential)

DES Certificate: Required for working in an underground environment

Brake Test Certificate: Mandatory to ensure you are qualified to perform brake tests

Current Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license

Standard 11 Surface/Underground Certificate: Required for all underground work in Queensland

Coal Board Medical: A valid medical assessment for working in the coal mining industry is required

Drug & Alcohol Testing: Candidates must be willing to undergo and pass a drug and alcohol test prior to starting
