IPA and Synaco by Synergie are currently looking for a range of Electricians for both local and FIFO work here in WA

We have multiple opportunities available (Commercial/Residential experience, Marine and Automotive experience) depending on what you are looking for to suit your current situation.

To be considered for these positions you will be required to meet the below criteria

• Trade Qualification
• A Grade WA Electrical Licence
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• Ability to pass a pre employment Medical including drug and alcohol screen
• WA Drivers Licence
• White Card

Desired qualifications

• Forklift ticket
• Dogging certificate
• Confined Space certification
• Working at Heights
• Eligibility for an Australian Defence Security Clearance (certain clients)
• Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residence (certain clients)

General duties will include but not limited to

• Local

• Monday to Friday (with overtime available when required)
• Working on both Defence and commercial projects, workshop & site-based work
• Working on ships/vessels/automotive
• Wiring cable trays
• Reading electrical drawings
• Testing & tagging
• Troubleshooting & fault finding
• FIFO
• Swings either 2:1 or 8:6 depending on site requirements
• Mine site Village Maintenance
• Preventative works
• Adhoc call outs where required to fix equipment
• Review work processes and procedures, identify and solve problems
• Report to village maintenance manager

Pay rate will vary depending on the role you are looking for, below is a snap shot

• Auto Electrician - 50hrs per week ongoing $68.75 per hr flat rate
• Marine Electrician - 38hrs per week (OT when required) ongoing $62.50 per hr flat rate
• FIFO - $65-$75 flat rate per hour, casual swings as/when required
