The Role

• Assign tasks to labourers, supervisors, and subcontractors based on the day's work plan to optimize manpower and resources.
• Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use your problem-solving skills to address and resolve unexpected technical challenges as they arise
• Communicate with clients, architects, consultants, and local authorities to ensure effective collaboration and project progression.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and ensure all construction work meets required standards.
• Calculate material requirements, coordinate deliveries, and ensure timely availability of resources to prevent work stoppages.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work progress and resource utilization, and prepare reports such as daily progress logs.
• Alongside the Safety team, ensure all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and address safety issues promptly.
• Establish and maintain site survey controls, set out detailed works as per contract drawings, and conduct regular checks for construction accuracy.

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience within a T1 environment highly desirable
• 2+ years in a Site Engineer/simialr role, preferably with experience in managing high-rise building projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, materials, and the relevant building codes and standards
• Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and ensure completion of projects within time, quality and budget constraints.
• Proven leadership abilities to supervise site personnel and subcontractors.
• Highly organised and able to coordinate complex works with a methodical, systemised approach
• Proactive, driven, show initiative and willingness to learn and grow

The Package

• $130,000 - $150,000 + Super (They pay above market rates for above market ability)

• 3 year completion date
