The Role

• Project planning and delivery of a multi-stage Apartments project - lead from day 1.
• Assist with Design Management and approvals process
• Develop and manage a well-resourced project team
• Assist the CA with procurement and letting the more complex and critical packages
• Management of Head Contract claims, extensions, variations – this is a swift process as you’ll work closely with the Development team
• Construction Methodology
• Take ownership of the project from the outset and oversee until completion
• Create and drive the programme and achieve or exceed project deadlines
• Cost reports and budget forecasting
• Predominantly office-based role to encourage collaboration with the Development team
• Work closely with the site team to identify and overcome potential delays and issues on site
• Build and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing environment for all project stakeholders

The Person

• 5+ years’ experience as a PM on building projects $40m-$80m+ for Head Contractors OR Builder/Developers within Australia
• Multi-level experience essential
• Dynamic and outcomes focused
• Strong with systems and have well-developed processes
• Excellent contract knowledge and management of head contract claims, variations, EOT etc.
• Proven track record of managing projects and teams from initial design and project set up through to a successful completion
• Strong building knowledge, up to date with the latest construction methodology and well-developed problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage a high workload and maintain accuracy and proficiency
• Natural leadership skills and the ability to lead, mentor and maintain a cohesive, high-performing team unit
