Primary purpose of the role
The Project Officer will ideally come from a commercial management background or experience in the property industry. This role has a key focus on supporting organisational efficiencies and standardisations, ensuring that agreed processes and practices are adhered to through proactive stakeholder management.

Key accountabilities

• Prepare approval documents, such as Briefing Notes
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Word, PowerPoint
• Prepare supporting materials for key meetings, including PowerPoint presentations
• Stakeholder management and consultation, internal and external with consultants and other government agencies
• Manage registers and action lists from weekly Executive meetings

Necessary experience:

• Experience the property industry
• Project planning – define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets
• Stakeholder communication – act as primary point of contact for stakeholder, providing regular updates. Prepare and present project status reports for senior management
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members
• Organisational skills – ability to organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive and efficient – Anticipate potential challenges, identify solutions early, and work effectively to meet deadlines
