Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, are Seeking the experience of Senior Cyber Security Operations Analyst for a long 12 + 12 month contract.

Duties of the Senior Cyber Security Operations Analyst

• Develop and implement SOC tools, processes, and capabilities.
• Identifying, planning, and implementing enhancements to the Agency's threat landscape.
• Develop SOC standard operating procedures and playbooks in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop cyber security metrics and reporting templates for cyber leadership and broader agency leadership.
• Further develop and refine the solution architecture and design for cyber solutions.
• Communicate with influence to ensure deliverables are aligned to Corporate Plan and organisational priorities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing SOC tools, processes, and capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced SOC environment.
• Experience with cloud security tooling and cloud platforms (SIEM, SOAR, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, AWS, Azure, O365).
• Proven experience in advanced Incident Response.
• Proven automation experience.
• Familiarity with cyber threat modelling techniques, and experience developing systems specific use cases, monitoring plans and cyber security incident response plans.
• Bachelor's degree in cyber security and or relevant industry certifications (desired).
