The opportunity

We are seeking experienced Plant Operators to join our hardworking team at Phoenix Civil & Earthmoving Pty Ltd, based in Albany, Western Australia. As a Plant Operator, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, contributing to the overall objectives and growth of our company.

Key responsibilities

Safely operate a range of earthmoving and construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, loaders, and graders

Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment

Work closely with the construction team to complete tasks on schedule and to a high standard

Adhere to all relevant safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations by suggesting innovative solutions

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Plant Operator in the construction industry

Relevant trade qualifications or tickets for the operation of construction equipment

Strong understanding of construction methods and equipment capabilities

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Commitment to workplace health and safety
