Exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region

The new state of the art facility includes:

  • more operating theatres and recovery spaces
  • expanded emergency department
  • enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services
  • enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics
  • new interventional cardiology service
  • new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service

About the role

In this role you are responsible for providing sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to all areas for use in patient care, in accordance with Australian standards, NSW Health and local policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions developed by Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD) management.
