Office Assistant Role is to keep the office running smoothly by performing a variety of task including:
Administrative task: Copying, Faxing, Managing emails
Organization: Keeping the office tidy and stocked
Scheduling: Coordinating meetings and events | Sending meeting invites
Support : Help coordinate business lunches, Sending calendar invites
Note-Taking: Taking notes during meetings
Errands : Post office , Bank, Dealership , Etc. ( must have a drivers license )
Communication Skills: This involves being able to effectively communicate with a variety of clients
Some Skills that are important for this role include:
Time management: Prioritizing tasks and adjusting them as needed. The job will require you to be responsive to emails and text messages when needed after hours.
Adaptability: Being able to modify the approach and internal organization as needed
Resourcefulness: Being able to anticipate needs and take the initiative to support the business.
Communication: Having strong language, writing, and communication skills
Attention to detail: Being detail-oriented and eager to learn
Computer skills: Being an experienced computer user, preferably with Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
