We're currently searching for a skilled and highly motivated Library Team Leader Operations & Services to join our organisation in a full-time capacity.

About the Opportunity
This role aims to enhance community engagement and participation by delivering excellent customer service, aligned with the Mildura Rural City Council Library Service priorities and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include coordinating staff across branch libraries, overseeing staff development and training, and developing strategies for library services, including contingency and action plans. Additionally, the role involves ensuring a strong understanding of the library system to improve outcomes.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Library and/or Information Service enabling professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
- Minimum five years’ experience working in a public library.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the management of budgets, projects, resources, facilities, services and staff within the library sector.
- Experience in the management of services within the public library sector.
- Ability to utilise Technology effectively.
- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current Working with Children’s check
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 7 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $104,988.52 to $117,480.48 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
