Position: Engineering Technologist

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 plus

Type: Permanent / Full Time

Locations: NSW / WA

Qualships Australia is a highly specialist Marine service operators undertaking all forms of marine surveying services including cargo related vessel surveying, Internal audits, Hull and machinery repairs electrical repairs and troubleshooting, technical inspections and report writing.

Duties:

• Analyses existing onboard technology
• Makes recommendations to the technical managers on how to improve existing technologies
• Runs technology through testing procedures and notes findings
• Prepares and approves drawings of new technologies
• Producing professional and coherent testing analysis reports of parts
• Testing parts and machinery
• Conducting on site job inspections

Required Skills:

• Have at least 2-3 years experience in a related role
• Degree level qualified
• Experience in marine industry
• Have excellent problem solving abilities
• Be punctual, enthusiastic, and hardworking
• Fully Vaccinated
