South West Colorectal Surgery are seeking an experienced and friendly medical receptionist to join our small but growing team based at St John of God Bunbury Hospital specialist suites.

Position requirements

Front desk reception

Greet patients warmly and professionally

Scheduling appointments

Booking patients for surgery and managing theatre lists

Process invoices and payments

Prompt response to emails and tasks

Answer telephone calls

Maintain accurate patient records

Flexible to assist with a variety of other tasks as required

About you

Previous medical receptionist experience, particularly in a surgical practice or specialist rooms.

Caring, friendly personality

High level of attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner

Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

Proficiency in using Outlook, SharePoint and Excel

Experience with Gentu or Genie preferable
