Our client operates an expanding network of 14 schools and 19 ECE services. With a new service 90 place service, scheduled to open Mid 2025 in Tarragindi, we are wanting to appoint a Centre Director to lead the opening of the Service.

The Centre Director role ensures high-quality early childhood education, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and a supportive, engaged team culture.

About the role….

• As the Centre Director you will take responsibility for ensuring the Service operates in full compliance with all governing laws, regulations, and policies.
• Requires you to support the Approved Provider in meeting its legislative obligations while overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of the Service and in delivering high quality education and care for all enrolled children and their families.
• You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting a diverse team to foster a positive, professional, and high-performing workplace culture.
• Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and performance management in alignment with HR policies.

To be successful, you will…

• Hold your Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

• Have management experience, it would be advantageous to have experience of opening a Service previously.
• Bring an open-minded approach, staying across contemporary practice and a willingness embrace and advocate for change
• Have experience in recruiting employees. With the ability to develop a positive and passionate culture.

• Develop partnerships with families, community organisations, and stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes across the service.
