As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

About Goodstart Albany Creek, The Boulevarde

• Purpose-Built Facility: Goodstart Early Learning Albany Creek - The Boulevard is a purpose-built centre with large rooms, wide verandas and three separate playgrounds for children of different ages. We are located in a residential area and nearby are schools, shops and transport routes.
• Flexible Care & Quality Programs: The five-room centre offers flexible care routines and quality educational programs which focus on all areas of development such as social/emotional skills, maths, science and nature, language and literacy, music and movement, self-help and independence.
• Play-Based Learning: Our curriculum, based on the Early Years Learning Framework, is designed to engage children through play while preparing them for school. We create programs that cater to each child’s individual interests, needs, and strengths.
• Family Communication: We utilise the Storypark platform to maintain clear and consistent communication with families, supporting children’s learning journeys and keeping parents informed about their development and milestones
• Outdoor Play Areas: Our playgrounds combine natural and manmade elements, including sandpits, vegetable patches, cubby houses, and shaded spaces, encouraging exploration,
• Community Engagement: We emphasise building connections with the broader community through visits, excursions, and events, enriching children’s learning experiences and teaching them about active citizenship.

We are looking for a Centre Director who shares our vision for excellence in early learning and can lead our team in continuing to provide exceptional care and education to our children and families.

You’ll help achieve this by

• Having a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved qualification
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health, or community services
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
• Have proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
