Work across multiple entities, with operations in both Australia and New Zealand.

Real ownership – no partial handoffs, you run the payroll process end-to-end.

$100k + Super FTE, with flexibility depending on experience.

Hybrid options – Ideally based in Adelaide, but open to candidates in Sydney or Melbourne, with 1 day in office.

Supportive leadership. You will report into a hands-on Financial Controller who’s building the future finance structure

What you’ll be doing:

Processing weekly payroll across multiple brands and regions.

Managing leave calculations, reconciliations, termination payouts, super, PAYG, and payroll tax.

Staying compliant with legislation and reporting requirements.

Maintaining payroll systems – any large payroll system exposure is fine.

Handling workers’ comp claims, audits, and external reporting.

Managing the entire EOFY process, including STP reporting and balancing.

Supporting the team with salary reviews, budget reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Acting as the go-to person for payroll queries internally and externally.

Who this suits:

Proven experience managing payroll end-to-end.

Strong Excel skills.

Exposure to NetSuite is ideal, but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and confident stakeholder engagement.

Comfortable working autonomously and across teams like Sales, Ops, and Projects.

You enjoy fast-paced work and hitting tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

You’re proactive, personable and calm under pressure.
