The Role:
This 36-month full-time opportunity will see you working alongside a large and supportive team to maintain all the gardens and landscapes of the holiday park. You will develop skills and knowledge in a variety of areas with hands-on experience, and paid study towards achieving a nationally recognised Certificate III in Horticulture.
Duties Include:
- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Mulch, prune, pot, and water plants
- Tree removal
- Use garden tools and machinery
- Brush cutting and mowing
- Pest and weed control
- Install irrigation pipes and watering systems
About You:
- Enjoy working outdoors and with garden tools
- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Ability to prioritise time and tasks when working under pressure
- Works effectively within a team and unsupervised
- Great communication skills
- Have a can-do attitude and willing to learn
Role Requirements:
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in gardening or similar trades (advantageous)
