About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Change Lead for an initial 12-month contract with likely extensions, to support a large-scale program of work within an engineering division or a large organisation in the energy sector. We are seeking a change professional with demonstrated experience in managing change in operational technology environments, ideally utilities.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with technical teams and engineering teams to implement and embed new change initiatives ensuring smooth change adoption and business readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the application of change management practices and frameworks within the project delivery methodology;
- Develop and manage change plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan;
- Conduct thorough stakeholder management, including planning, analysis, and engagement activities;
- Assess and manage change impacts, identifying risks and mitigation strategies;
- Facilitate training needs analysis and oversee the execution of training programs;
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure business readiness and project success;
- Prepare comprehensive reports on change management activities for executive stakeholders; and
- Coordinate and deliver change and readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Criteria
- Degree qualification in change management or related discipline, or recognised certification in change management frameworks;
- Experience leading technology-driven change within large, complex organisations;
- Demonstrated experience in managing change in operational technology environments, ideally utilities;
- Proficiency with the Prosci ADKAR Model or equivalent change management methodology;
- Strong ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration across diverse teams; and
- High-level communication skills, including the ability to present and engage with diverse audiences.
