About the Company

Our client is a small NFP organisation with links to the retail sector located within the outskirts of Melbourne CBD.

About the Role

Within this role you will be required to support the business with a mixture of Administration, Customer Service, Marketing and Events coordination. Our client is seeking an outgoing, personable and experienced administrator to join their small team on a permanent basis.

Duties

Within this role, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Manager, Events Manager, and Finance Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming phone calls and managing company emails
    * Overseeing the company's social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
    * Assisting with company communications and website updates
    * Front of house reception duties, welcoming and assisting visitors
    * Providing support to members
    * Creating and sending EDMs to members via Mailchimp
    * Coordinating board travel as needed
    * Delivering general administrative support to the wider business
    * Assisting in the planning and organisation of board meetings, conferences, and events
    * Assisting with on-site event setup and providing support during events

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a reception or administrative role
    * High attention to detail, highly organised, and efficient
    * Strong IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    * Experience with CRM programs, Mailchimp & Canva (preferred)
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills
    * Outgoing, personable, and confident in engaging with others
    * Self-driven with the ability to work independently and under pressure
    * Professional, well-presented, and able to build relationships
    * Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities
    * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    * Experience working in an NFP (advantageous but not essential)
    * Willingness to assist with physical event setup, including lifting boxes
  • Must have full working rights with no limitations
