We are seeking an energetic and vibrant Wash Bay Supervisor to join our fantastic Gold Coast team.

East Coast Car Rentals (ECCR) operates in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment which requires flexibility, adaptability, and initiative as well as excellent organisation and problem-solving skills. The Wash Bay Supervisor reports directly to the Branch Manager and supervises the Vehicle Detailers. They will also work closely with the Fleet Department, as well as other relevant stakeholders.

The role of the Wash Bay Supervisor is key to success at every branch. In conjunction with the Branch Manager, they are tasked to accomplish company objectives.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage team workflow - create and oversee your team workflow as required by the operational needs, ensuring our vehicle standards are met
• Ensure all vehicles are cleaned daily to meet the branch requirements
• Train new hires and perform inductions for all new Vehicle Detailers joining your team
• Work with the Branch Manager to ensure rosters are up to date for Vehicle Detailers, based on the needs of the business
• Complete soft maintenance items such as tyre change and balancing, operation of hoist, top up vehicle fluids, change spark plugs & globes
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks on car wash system, vacuums, water softeners and other equipment as required
• Ensure detailing products stock levels are always maintained

Other Key Requirements

• Must possess a full driver’s license
• QLD Only - must be eligible and pass a Queensland Registered Driver Authority (RDA) to transport passengers (if required)
