Job Description:
As a Managed Print Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote support for our clients' print devices. You will play a key role in ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of printers, copiers, and multifunction devices. You’ll work directly with clients to solve issues, manage supplies, and ensure a seamless printing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, copiers, and multifunction devices at customer locations.
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of print-related issues.
- Perform routine maintenance, including toner and paper replenishment, and device cleaning.
- Manage and track printer supplies and consumables.
- Develop and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime for clients.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on device usage and best practices.
- Keep detailed records of service calls, device history, and maintenance performed.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations for quality and timeliness.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for service upgrades or additional managed print services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in managed print services or IT support is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various print devices, including laser printers, copiers, and multifunction devices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software related to printing devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, HP, Canon) are a plus but not required.
