Senior Backend Developer (C# .NET) | Melbourne-Based Hybrid | Build Something That Matters

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join a tight-knit Melbourne-based team working on a product that’s making a real-world impact across industries like transport, government, and corporate services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and enhance a critical platform used by major organisations across Australia
• Design high-performance backend systems using modern C# .NET frameworks
• Apply your understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable solutions
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a supportive, hybrid work environment

What You’ll Need:

• Australian citizenship (must-have)
• Around 10 years of experience in backend development and DevOps, particularly with AWS
• Expertise in C# .NET (latest versions preferred), WebAPI/MVC
• Strong skills in EF Core, LINQ, TSQL, and NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)
• Familiarity with distributed patterns like CQRS and Pub/Sub

Nice to Have:

• AGSVA Baseline security clearance or higher
• AWS tools like EC2, ECS, Lambda, CDK
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Familiarity with AspNet Boilerplate
• Some frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Angular)
