About the role

DCI GROUP PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team in Karratha, Western Australia. This is a full-time, on-site role overseeing the day-to-day operations of our civil construction projects. As the Civil Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, including labourers, operators, and subcontractors
• Monitoring and maintaining project schedules, workflows, and quality control
• Identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks to keep projects on track
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Providing regular progress updates to project managers and clients
• Mentoring and developing the skills of the construction team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and coordinate teams
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges on-site
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Civil Construction or equivalent
