This company is a prominent national civil & mining contracting business. Their specialist areas of expertise includes the construction of major earthworks packages for mining and road infrastructure projects. They are seeking a CIVIL SUPERVISOR on permanent basis to join their team on a WA minesite tailings dam project.

About the Role

As CIVIL SUPERVISOR you will coordinate and allocate site resources (plant/manpower and equipment) and oversee the daily production activity on site during construction of a large $30m+ tailings dam project for a global miner. The scope of work will involve extensive bulk earthworks so it is essential you have recent contractor-side experience on similar bulk earthworks projects in WA. You will ensure your crews’ adherence to the site OH&S management plan to drive an injury free safety culture and ensure OH&S compliance during operations. As CIVIL SUPERVISOR you will be working on FIFO 8/6 roster ex-Perth during this project which is set to run 12 months+. The successful CIVIL SUPERVISOR will be rewarded with a terrific salary CIRCA $185K Base + Super, with an IMMEDIATE START available!

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

• 5+ years’ CIVIL SUPERVISOR experience on West Australian civil sector including bulk earthworks for mining and civil projects while employed by Civil Contractors
• Proven success as a CIVIL SUPERVISOR managing construction teams and effective utilization of plant and equipment to achieve project milestones on large Earthworks scopes of work
• Previous experience building tailings dams, embankments, mine access/haul roads, or plant site earthworks for civil contractors in WA is essential.
• Excellent all-round communication skills to liaise with client contacts and lead teams successfully
• Ability to undertake FIFO 8/6 roster ex-Perth
• Perth/WA based currently, with existing rights to live and work in Australia
• Current WA C Class driver’s licence
