We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to work for a leading provider of Injury Management and Workplace Rehabilitation Services. This organisation are a not for profit provider with nearly 50 years’ experience, supporting those who have been injured at work. The main focus for this organisation is supporting workers, and as such, profits are redirected into building services and investing in the interests of injured workers and their families. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping workers through the challenges they are facing.

About the position:

• Permanent role
• Full Time position (part time would also be considered – anything upwards of 3 days per week)
• Salary range from $90-100k, dependent on experience, plus super, plus salary packaging benefits
• Hybrid work arrangements (2 days per week in the office)
• Varied position
• Office located in Parramatta - close to public transport

About the Organisation:

This organisation is a well established not for profit provider of injury management and workplace rehabilitation services. They work specifically with unions, as well as other organisations. They have a rich history and are currently experiencing growth.

Duties:

• Conducting various assessments with injured workers (Functional Assessments (Physical and Psychological), Workplace, Vocational, Activities of Daily Living)
• Managing the RTW process using objective medical evidence including arranging and managing the agenda for NTD case conferences
• Providing advice to employers and insurers regarding the selection of suitable duties
• Liaising with treating medical practitioners, employers and relevant allied health practitioners for the duration of the claim with WHC

Requirements:

• Registered Psychologist (provisional registration accepted), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, with AHPRA membership(s), Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA registration or Rehabilitation Counsellor with ASORC, ACA, RCAA
• Previous experience working as a Rehabilitation Consultant
