Join the dynamic team at Bombora Seafood as a Restaurant Supervisor in our stunning Wollongong Harbour location. This part-time role is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our renowned restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and a memorable dining experience for all our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Friday and Saturday nights, Monday and Tuesday days. (Open to negotiation)
• Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, coordinating service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Providing exceptional customer service and handling any customer queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Assisting with inventory management, stock control, ordering and rostering to ensure the restaurant is appropriately staffed and resourced
• Collaborating with the restaurant manager and kitchen team to optimise workflows and resolve any operational issues
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Providing on-the-job training and mentoring to junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to provide a memorable dining experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think on your feet
• Solid understanding of food safety, liquor licensing, and other relevant industry regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
