We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join the team and promote the implementation of the Reggio Emilia approach. As an ECT, you will play a vital role in providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 3-5 years, encouraging their holistic development through a variety of learning styles and resources.
The Centre
The service offers a play based program that allows children to explore through their imagination. You will install a love of learning and guide the children on their path of discovery and realising their potential.
The team takes pride in building excellent relationships with the local community and families at the service.

The Opportunity
An exciting position for an Early Childhood Teacher to lead the Kindergarten group. As an ECT you will be responsible for leading a team of educators and creating stimulating and exciting programs each day. As the Nominated Supervisor you will be in charge of making sure the sessions and service runs smoothly, compliant with the child safe standards and oversee the staff in the service.
This is a full time opportunity. This role pays a competitive salary.
The Ideal Teacher
You will have experience in supporting continuous improvement including developing professional learning plans and programs. You will be positive and driven with excellent communication and strong team management skills. You will have a passion for working in the not for profit sector and have experience with working and supporting families of diverse backgrounds.
- At least 2+ years in a similar ECT role
- Bachelor of Teaching- Early Childhood Education or ACECQA assessed equivalent
- Strong understanding and knowledge of EYLF and NQS and Child Safety Standards
- VIT Registered (FULL)
