Salary: $72,152.53 to $101,299.48 base per annum

About the role:
Our Emergency Department has exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our amazing and dynamic nursing team. The Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art trauma centre situated in the CBD of Sydney and has over 55,000 patients presenting each year.

Our Emergency Department has advanced and innovative nursing practices in place that will develop you and provide you with a platform to take your career in the direction that you are looking for. We pride ourselves in growing and supporting excellent Emergency Nurses. Although we have an internal educational pathway, there are also scholarship opportunities to support your next career move.

About you:
We are a supportive and strengths-based team; we welcome applications from both experienced emergency nurses along with nurses new to the speciality. You will be well supported by a Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Clinical Nurse Educators and a team of Nurse Unit Managers. Our dedicated team of medical staff are also very committed to working with you.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Akenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
3. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team
4. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
5. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
