This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Disability Support Workers and Candidates with a genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of people with living with disabilities.
Must be willing to travel - Western Sydney areas, Hawkesbury, Seven Hills, Blue Mountains for example.
The successful applicant will join a specialised supportive team that provides intensive care to the participants, who suffers from chronic pain, chronic fatigue, spinal injuries, lack of mobility, dysphagia, seizures and a range of other conditions. The role focuses on a mixture of personal care, domestic assistance, and community access.
Current shifts available include Days, Afternoons, Weekends, Inactive nights (sleepovers), Public holidays.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Valid NSW driver’s licence
- Reliable Vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
- CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check for paid roles (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Check issued less than 3 months ago (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Quality Safety and You - NDIS New Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to Work in Australia (Working Rights)
- A smartphone that has access to the internet and the ability to download rostering app
- Desired - Experience as a Disability Support Worker in providing In Home Care Supports, personal care and community access.
