About the role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to start immediately to join our team at ELEVA8 Investments Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across our network.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of heavy vehicles, including semi-trailers and rigid trucks, to transport goods and materials
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, taking into account traffic conditions, delivery schedules, and vehicle capacity
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and roadworthy
• Load and unload cargo, using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure the safety of the load and yourself
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including manifests, trip logs, and any incidents or delays
• Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures

What we're looking for

• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• At least 2 years of experience as a professional truck driver, preferably in the road transport industry
• Knowledge of load restraint and safe lifting practices
• Strong navigation and route planning skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
