About the Role

As an Executive Level 1 Assistant Director, you will step into a leadership role within a high-profile initiative.

This role offers the opportunity to guide important policy work, manage impactful projects, and engage with diverse stakeholders to improve the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals.

What You Will Do

Lead the development of innovative, evidence-based policies.

Resolve issues and mitigate risks related to safeguarding and risk assessment.

Oversee projects with broad organisational impact.

Work with people with lived experience to ensure that the policies and approaches reflect diverse perspectives.

Prepare key reports, briefings, and strategic advice to inform decision-making at the highest levels.

What You Will Bring

A proven track record in developing and delivering policy advice in complex environments.

Strong skills in analysing data and evidence to solve problems and drive change.

Experience working collaboratively with people with lived experience and a broad range of stakeholders.

Strategic thinking and the ability to navigate sensitive organisational and political contexts.

Initiative, autonomy, and the ability to manage resources and priorities effectively.

Experience in disability policy, social policy, or social insurance would be highly regarded.
