Our Client:
Operating globally, our client has is a dominant player in their space within the financial services industry. The Sydney office is located in the heart of the CBD, offering some WFH.

The Role:
Reporting to a supportive Senior Tax Manager and working within a strong tax team representing the Asia market, you will work across tax compliance, advisory and reporting.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Direct and indirect tax matters for ANZ
- Tax accounting and reporting (preparation of tax provisions, tax cash-flow analysis and tax risk assessments)
- Communicating tax matters of regular basis
- Managing tax audit
- Working closely with various stakeholders including supporting of transactions from tax perspective
- Reviewing indirect tax compliance submissions
- Mentor, train and delegate work to overseas tax team
- Managing corporate taxes and compliance
- Ad hoc project opportunities

About You:
- Ideally circa 10-years working experience with CA/CPA qualification
- Financial services industry experience in tax role or financial reporting position
- Big 4 first mover with relevant experience and strong technical understanding of taxation laws
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbally and can work part of a team and able to partner with various stakeholders
