About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced commercial/industrial plumbing estimator, who can become part of the DiversaPlumb team.

We require a detail oriented individual, someone who is enthusiastic about their profession.

This role is 100% office based, in Ravenhall 3023. Start/finish times are flexible .

In this role you will work closely with our Director, you’ll also collaborate with our project management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review tender invitations, plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
• Complete on screen take off to attain bill of quantities.
• Prepare cost estimates for plumbing work including labour, material, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct costs.
• Liaise with merchants, suppliers and subcontractors to attain project quotes.
• Maintain and create new relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Maintain our quote register.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Plumbing trade experience.
• Qualification in Estimating/Quantity Surveying/Hydraulics (advantageous but not essential).
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the plumbing standards e.g. AS 3500 etc.
• Strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, excellent analytical and mathematical skills, punctual and responsive.
• Proficient computing skills, experience using Microsoft office suite and cloud based on screen take off programs.
