Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic academic quality and standards team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of ECU’s academic excellence. This position provides a chance to help shape the future of ECU’s academic standards and ensure the delivery of high-quality education. In this role you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance in relation to higher education, vocational education and training and other standards legislation, including Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS). The role provide support for the quality assurance functions of the university through comprehensive course reviews, unit reviews, committee and regulatory reporting requirements and professional accreditation activities.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the application of higher education standards and other legislative requirements, including the HESF, ESOS, and RTO Standards.
  • Experience in utilising evidence-based practices and data analysis for continuous improvement and monitoring of curriculum and academic quality compliance.
  • Demonstrated to produce high-quality reports and analyses to communicate recommendations through both written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated relationship building and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to work with autonomy, initiative, adaptability, and with attention to detail.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $100,512 to $112,622 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
