Practice Nurse (Part-Time) – Regional Medical Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated and Practice Nurse to join our team in a modern, well-equipped GP clinic. This part-time role (Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) offers a fantastic work-life balance in a supportive and friendly environment.

Role Purpose:

The Practice Nurse will deliver high-quality nursing care within the medical practice, with a particular focus on chronic disease management and health promotion activities, including the Healthy Hearts Program. This role will also contribute to the development of contemporary clinical care models to enhance patient outcomes and support the ongoing growth of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care, including wound management, immunisations, and health assessments
• Assist with chronic disease management and care plans
• Support doctors with procedures and clinical tasks
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control standards
• Educate and support patients in managing their health
• Lead and contribute to health promotion initiatives, particularly the Healthy Hearts Program

About You:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA registration
• Experience in a general practice or primary care setting (preferred)
• Registered nurse immuniser
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Sound and intuitive computer and technology skills
• Passionate about providing quality patient care and health promotion
