About the Opportunity
Council are seeking versatile, enthusiastic individuals to join our administrative team supporting the Development and Regulatory Services Department. Two positions are available and applicants seeking either Full time or Part time employment are encouraged to apply.
The positions will include tasks such as:
- Acting as first point of contact within the Department for enquiries and applications - face to face, via phone, or via email.
- Providing administrative support to meet the customer service and administration requirements of the Development & Regulatory Services Department, including Records Management.
- Preparing 337 Certificates based on available Council records, including seeking clarification for matters which are unclear.
- Receiving event notification forms and coordinating referrals to responsible officers, ensuring a timely response to applicants.
- Collating and extracting Department statistics for various reporting mechanisms.

In this role, your ability to provide superior customer service and work efficiently and flexibly while being a supportive team member will be key.
You will be enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn and to contribute within a team environment. You will have an eye for detail and will place a high value on providing quality customer service. You understand the importance of effective communication and the ability to problem solve and use this to your advantage when working in an environment that has shifting priorities.
What we will offer you
These positions are based at Council's offices in Westbury. Annual salary will be negotiated subject to applicant’s qualification, skills, and experience within a range of $61,011 to $66,073 (pro rata for Part Time) under Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2022. Council will also pay an additional 3.5% above the amount required by the Superannuation Guarantee legislation (total amount currently 15%) in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2022.
