In this role you will;

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals, objectives, and challenges, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making;
• Provide financial support for strategic initiatives, including business cases, financial modelling, and scenario planning;
• Analyse financial performance and variances, identify trends and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency;
• Partner with other departments to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans;
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations;
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of financial processes and systems, and recommend improvements; and
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor on financial matters.

To be successful in this role, ideally you will be;

• CA/CPA qualified;
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills;
• Proven ability to manage tight deadlines whilst leading a team;
• Ability to develop junior team members;
• Experience as the point of contact for non-finance business partners; and
• Will consider first time movers but preferably looking for some commercial experience (secondments welcome!).
