About the role

All Care 4 you pty ltd is seeking a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, Personal Care Assistant, Food services assistant to join our team in Hunter Newcastle, NSW 2300.This is a casual role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive aged care environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents in our aged care facility
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for each resident
• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for our residents
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care
• Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for our residents
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Certificate in aged care care
• Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing, with a strong understanding of the unique needs of the elderly
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant IT systems
