Are you ready to make a meaningful change? Lead our team of youth services professionals, dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for youth while fostering their active engagement within the community.
You will actively and positively engage with young people and their families who are experiencing high degrees of conflict causing the young person to be homeless or at risk of homelessness.
About the Role
The role is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations of the Ruby’s Edwardstown or Thebarton site, leading a team of Therapeutic Youth Workers, and ensuring that the Ruby's Reunification Program is working effectively with all internal and external stakeholders to maximise impact for clients.
The Coordinator role requires:
- A flexible approach to client centred case management
- A supportive and collaborative approach to leadership
- Knowledge of therapeutic approaches
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Certificate IV in Youth Work or Community Services Qualification, reflecting a solid foundation in supporting young people effectively.
- Understanding of the SCHADS Award, including its impact on rostering practices. The role requires ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines while effectively scheduling staff across various shifts
