Gavelco is looking for Experienced Window Installers to join our team on multiple high-rise projects in the Sydney Area. As a window installer, you will be responsible for the layout, installation, and adjustment of windows, sliders, and doors, contributing to the overall quality of our residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Installation Work: Conduct support checks, opening size checks, location checks, and substrate assessments prior to installation.
• Reading & Interpreting Shop Drawings: Accurately interpret detailed shop drawings to ensure correct installation.
• High-Quality Installation: Install windows, sliders, and doors to meet Australian standards and Gavelco’s specifications. This includes cutting, drilling, and adjusting to achieve flawless results.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment, in line with client and builder guidelines.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in window and façade installation, preferably on high-rise or large-scale commercial/residential projects.
• References: Must provide a few relevant job references demonstrating your expertise.
• Attention to Detail: Precision and focus on high-quality workmanship during installation.
• Versatility: Capable of installing not only windows but also additional façade components, including sunshades, fixed louvers, and metal features.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using a wide range of tools required for façade-related tasks.
• Complete Set of Tools: Must have all the necessary tools to perform the required tasks.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to completing work to a high standard.
• Pace of Execution: Ability to maintain a good pace of work while ensuring quality standards are met.
