The Ophthalmic Day Surgery nurse will be responsible for providing preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a background in perioperative nursing. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse to join our team.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during and after ophthalmic surgeries
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and surgical procedures

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) certification with AHPRA
• Knowledge of Day Surgery processes preferred
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care
