About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for the experienced sales professional to join our small, powerful team in Brisbane, with a focus on contacting our current clients and selling new or upgrading their existing machinery.

If you have experience in a similar sales role, and you are comfortable in developing key relationships with our clients and suppliers – this role is for you!

We work with industries such as engineering, transportation, construction, farming and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential customers and developing new relationships.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales and service pipeline by actively prospecting, networking, and generating leads.
• Understand customer requirements and our client’s products to provide appropriate product recommendations to meet their specific needs.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate on pricing.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Requirements:

• Knowledge across CNC machinery, in particular pressbrakes, plasma and laser-cutting machines, guillotines.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing, heavy machinery or construction sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships.
• Ability to deliver convincing sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Willing to travel to visit customers.
• Strong negotiation and deal closing skills.
• Strong IT, software and sales tracking tool skills to manage and report on sales activities.
