What You'll Do:

Prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks that cater to diverse dietary requirements and allergies.

Plan seasonal menus in consultation with the Centre Director, ensuring variety and appeal for young tastebuds.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in all aspects of food preparation, storage, and kitchen operations.

Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise food waste.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a similar cooking role, ideally within an early learning or childcare setting.

Knowledge of food safety standards and allergy management.

Ability to plan menus that are both nutritious and exciting for young children.

Strong organisational skills and a love for creating in the kitchen.

Current Working with Children Check.
