The Role

Join one of Australia's most recognised provider of Transport & logistics staff. We have multiple Rigid Truck Driving roles available at our client sites located across Newcastle & Singleton areas.

Working on dayshift, we need multi drop delivery drivers with experience working in busy environments. We have roles available with our clients in the gas cylinder space, beverage deliveries or general freight divisions.

All roles have a physical component to them.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi drop delivery roles and can complete between 25 and 40 deliveries per day
• Physically able to complete hand unloads of either gas cylinders, beverage products or parcels depending on the role you are interested in
• Pre-start vehicle checks
• Driving the delivery truck in a safe manner
• Completion of relevant paperwork & or using a scanner
• Operating the delivery truck tailgate (if fitted with one)

Skills & Experience

• Current MR or HR Drivers Licence with 2 years' experience
• A responsible driving history and two excellent references
• Understanding of fatigue legislation and transport industry safety regulations
• Motivated and able to use your own initiative
